Mental Health Warrior: Liam Hudson

Liam Hudson is one of the brightest personalities at Family Service. He’s always ready to take a celebration to the next level, as you can see he did for World Turtle Day and National Grilled Cheese Day. His extra special personality makes him a compassionate, caring and effective Youth Development Specialist.

Liam worked with adults struggling with addiction and recovery before coming to Family Service. After hearing many clients wish they had more support as youth, he made his way to us to run groups for Positive Action and the Teen Outreach Program®. Liam describes his job as a Youth Development Specialist as being able to hang out with kids all day in hopes that he can provide educational and strengths-focused activities to make a positive impact in their lives.

“I think the support youth development offers to children and teens can start to instill stability and a sense of belonging in someone who may not otherwise have those positive experiences.”

When not working, Liam is out and about trying something new or binge-watching a new show, which brings us to his favorite quote:

“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” – Henry Ford
