Mission
Our Mission: Family Service of Roanoke Valley improves life and restores hope to the most vulnerable of our neighbors, from the very youngest children to the oldest adults, through prevention, counseling and support services.
Our Vision: Strengthen families. Heal trauma. Restore hope.
Community Support
Family Service of Roanoke Valley is a private, not-for-profit organization that has provided critical human services to Roanoke Valley residents since 1901. Family Service is governed by a local volunteer board of directors and is a partner agency of the United Ways of Roanoke Valley and Franklin County. Family Service continues to provide vital services thanks to the philanthropic support of the community. Contributions to Family Service are fully tax-deductible. We also offer several volunteer opportunities. For more information about how to support Family Service or to volunteer, please call 563-5316 x3032.
