Education: Ph.D. - Counselor Education & Supervision - Virginia Tech; MA - Counselor Education – Virginia Tech; MAT - Duke University; B.A. - Randolph-Macon Woman’s College

Experience: Since 2005, I have worked as a pastoral counselor at Interfaith Counseling Services, which has now merged with Family Service of Roanoke Valley. I am trained as a mental health therapist and is experienced in providing faith-integrated counseling when the client desires. I have experience as a graduate instructor in counseling at Virginia Tech and at Radford University. I also have 12 years of experience as a high school teacher.

Counseling Modalities: Affective-Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution Focus, Supportive-Directive, Insight Oriented, Family Systems, Faith Integration (used in conjunction with any of the above)
